Deziner Tonie – Decorating Den Interiors Team makes the whole process of interior decorating easy for our clients from beginning to end. We have an extensive product catalog featuring thousands of samples of top quality home furnishings products from drapery, blinds, shades, furniture, bedding, lighting, accessories, artwork, floor covering and wall covering from which to choose. And the best part, we bring our design ideas and samples to the most convenient showroom in the world – your home or office. No project is too small or too big, we will work with you to achieve the look and feel you desire.

We coordinate everything – from measuring, product ordering and finally to installation. We are present for product deliveries and installations, ensuring that everything goes as smoothly as possible. Plus, with our cutting edge 3D designs you are able to visualize exactly how your space will look.

We know every project presents its own unique set of circumstances. We will take the time necessary to help establish the scope of your project and the style you desire. Don’t worry about the time; our initial design consultation is always complimentary. Our first appointment will typically last about an hour.

The Initial Consultation - What to Expect

We ask to start with a 15-20 minute home tour; this allows us to see your style (or discuss a change in style), colors, and discuss the function of the room(s). We will also talk about any projects you may want to begin immediately, or in the future.  Then we will spend a few minutes “getting to know you” asking specific questions and taking photos to help with the design process.

We do not get into deep design work or show product at this appointment, but we are gathering information for our next appointment. The more information we have, the more we can help you. Next, we will review how we work with you, all within your lifestyle, investment and timing.

Investment & Retainer Agreement

During this first appointment, we also set the investment amount and confirm what areas we are designing for you. We will work with you to determine an investment range that accomplishes your overall project goals whether it is one room at a time or the entire home. Our extensive variety of products means we can satisfy almost any investment range with a good, better, best and luxury line of all products.  If you are purchasing furnishings, we do not charge for our design time during the project.

We will often ask for a retainer fee along with a signed a retainer agreement based on the investment amount for your project. This fee can range anywhere from $500 – $5,000, of course depending on the size and scope of each project. This simply guarantees our design time, as we typically do not charge “by the hour.” Before we leave your home, we will also schedule your design next appointment to keep your project moving efficiently.

After the Initial Consultation

We offer a few different design packages including full-service design, full-service kitchen remodel design, or full-service bathroom remodel design. Depending on the package that works best for you, we will get started on selecting custom furnishings and finishes from our exclusive list of vendors. Most packages include 2D and 3D design, mood boards, and customized presentations. This process is customized for each client and their needs specifically.
