Custom Drapery

Having the correct window treatments depend on several factors: the room, the shape of the window and its position to the sun, the style you prefer, and the drapery’s purpose.

Window treatments will last for many years and serve many purposes — they keep the sun out and the warmth in; they help protect your floors, rugs and furniture from fading; they add pizzazz to any room, completing the overall design.

They can be practical too. Today’s fabrics offer room darkening options for people who need to sleep in daylight hours such as doctors, nurses and firefighters. Also, many fabrics are stain resistant — perfect defense from kids and pets.

If you prefer a simple look, you can hang stationary drapery panels each side of the window, framing it, usually in combination with a blind or shade. Adding embellishment such as fringe or contrasting tape will change the mood of the room from formal to romantic to casual.

We are also able to help with difficult shaped windows, such as bay windows. Bay windows offer the perfect placement for a small seating area or reading nook while taking advantage of the views outside your home.

In the Palm Beach area many people have high ceilings. Tonie has experience with designing luxury window treatments for tall windows and it shows in her creativity and knowledge.

Top Treatments

Top treatments are a stylish and practical alternative to full-length drapes, especially in spaces where traditional window coverings may not be ideal. Perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, or rooms with furniture placed beneath windows, top treatments provide a polished look without overwhelming the space.

Options like cornice boards and valances add softness, conceal hardware, and create a finished, custom appearance. They can also enhance the architectural interest of a window or add a splash of color and pattern for visual impact. When paired with shades or blinds, top treatments offer both beauty and function, layering texture and completing the design. Draperies and top treatments can be further embellished with custom trim that will add an interesting and individual look to the finished product.

Whether classic or contemporary, they’re a versatile solution for elevating your windows with style and intention.
