Do you get nostalgic this time of year? I know December 31st is when we’re supposed to look back over the past year and plan our goals for the next year, but…
With Thanksgiving coming up, I feel inspired to reflect and be grateful now!
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for following along with us this year. I can’t believe how much has happened over these months (and is still happening).
In the spirit of gratitude and celebration, let’s look at some of the highlights from this year — with respect to design AND our lives.
Design-Related Highlights & Gratitude from 2019
1. We shared a TON of design advice that you can implement at home.
If you don’t have an eye and art for design, that doesn’t mean you can’t start developing one with some simple strategies and practice. Here are 6 how-tos we shared with you this year:
2. We shared design inspiration from around the country and world.
I LOVE to travel (almost as much as I love to design!) and there’s nothing quite like getting out of your element to discover new palettes, ideas, and inspiration.
Blue & Green Color Trends from High Point Market in North Carolina
Palette Inspiration from Yellowstone & Zion National Parks
7 Furniture Trends from the Annual Fair in Milan, Italy
Colors from the Keukenhof Tulip Festival in the Netherlands
3. We guided you through some beautiful homes (and designed some ourselves!)
More inspiration! Although we only shared 1 Before & After with you this year, we completed several large-scale design projects. If you were one of our clients this year, THANK YOU for trusting your home and lifestyle to our caring hands.
If you weren’t a client this year, don’t worry — we’ll be sharing more Before & Afters in the coming months and will be accepting new clients in the New Year. Stay tuned!

Life-Related Highlights & Gratitude from 2019
The California fires this year were record-breakingly devastating.
I am so grateful for all the people who were safely evacuated and for the brave firefighters from all over the country who worked overtime to keep us safe.
I am especially thankful that my son, one of the firefighters called to the many scenes, was able to return home safely!
Grateful for – our beautiful family
So very grateful to be in this beautiful country where we are free to achieve and be whatever we want to be.
And I am so very grateful for having a life and business partner wrapped into one – My Husband Pete for the past 37 years. We love traveling, exploring, working together and yes just being home sweet home together.
Luv2Dezin’s Goals for 2019
With the new year – and always a chance for new beginnings..
Our Goals are to continue working bicoastal with our clients in California and Florida and everywhere in between. (Not sure I want to announce this, yet, but Pete and I are setting up an office in Florida as well. We move some of our stuff there in late December. ) But it is a huge goal for 2019. So we want to expand our business to work in both places.
